Jai Michelle Louissen
Founder & EIC
Jai Michelle Louissen is a Scottish poet and fiction writer, singer songwriter and recording artist living on the west coast of The Netherlands.
With an undergraduate education in literature, further training in systemic therapy and meditation, she writes about trauma identity and loss intersecting ecology and the natural world. When she is not writing you can find her outside in nature, immersed in fiction, art, theatre and film or composing a delicious meal.
Published most recently in Poetry Scotland, Acropolis Journal, Dust,, Clarion, Driech, The Heron Tree, Crow and Cross Keys with two chapbooks 'A Vision of Orchids' in 2022 published by Sunday Mornings At The River and 'The Weight of Vapour' published by Alien Buddha Press.

Victoria Spires lives in Northampton, UK. She has been published in Berlin Lit, Suburban Witchcraft, Wildscape Lit, Ghost City Review, Dust and The London Magazine among others. She has been shortlisted or commended in the Ledbury Poetry Competition 2024, The Aesthetica Arts Creative Writing Award 2024, The Poet’s Workshop Poetry Prize 2025, Artemesia Arts Poetry Prize 2025 and The Plough Prize 2025. She came Third in the Rialto Nature and Place Poetry Competition 2025. Her debut pamphlet Soi-même is available from Salo Press.
When she is not writing, she can be found running, or crouching down looking at something interesting. Victoria likes to read poems that hold something back for the reader to uncover; that smuggle some secret element of astonishment or wonder or desolation, however briefly described. She is a sucker for new and interesting words, playfulness, and deliberately unreliable perspectives
